I was feeling bad that I haven't spotlighted Kendall on my blog. Her birthday was in January, so I missed that opportunity. We didn't have a digital camera when Kendall was little and I still haven't scanned her baby pictures, so I don't have a cute collage for her yet. I really need to put that on my to do list.Kendall is 14 and in the 8th grade. Kendall has a great sense of humor and is doesn't take herself too seriously. When she returned home from a recent church dance, she told us that toward the end, two young men asked her and her friend to dance. She found it humorous that the short boy asked her tall friend (who towers over her) and the tall boy asked her.
We homeschooled Kendall the 2nd half of 7th grade and the 1st half of 8th grade. When she returned to school, she wasn't sure how she'd do playing Clarinet in the Wind Ensemble. She expressed her concerns to the band instructor and he asked her if she played any other instruments. When Kendall told him she played piano, he suggested she try playing mallets in the ensemble. She tried it and is loving it. A couple weekends ago, the Wind Ensemble participated in a competition at Sac State and we got to hear her for the first time.
- She has a great sense of humor.
- She helps me a lot and doesn't complain about babysitting.
- She's not embarrased to be seen with me.

I'm the teacher's quorum adviser in my ward. I have 9 boys. All I can say is that is a tough age to be. It is defining time for a lot of people (I think it was for me). You kind of have to decide who you want to be. Good luck Kendall! We think you're pretty cool.
That was a really nice spotlight. She is a cute girl - love her hair color!! Morgan has really loved being in band in high school, marching, Jazz, and all that. It is a great place for kids to fit in with other kids that have some direction in life!!
Oh, Kendall Weez - Queen of the grandkids. Such fond memories of Kendall at age 2 doing her interpretive dance for all of us. She certainly had all her Stubz aunts and uncles captivated.
3 Things I can say about Kendall:
1. She is mature to talk to and will always give her candid, honest opinion.
2. She is always SO kind to all of her younger cousins - eventhough it might be tough, since she is at the top ff the heap with no other cuzzies as compadres.
3. She has a strong sense of right and wrong and seems to be on the right side of things.
Kendall - you are awesome. I love ya tons!!
